In this, Rick’s very first book, it is evident that he truly is an artist in every sense of the word. A writer, poet, and artist, his passions stem from his yearning to help others and create beauty in the world.
Becoming a published author at this stage in Rick's life is not only an accomplishment from a writing perspective, but has also been a therapeutic, life altering one. He has battled depression for almost one third of his life, and he has courageously made the conscious choice to turn his darkness into light; inspiring others along the way.
Rick is passionate and strong-willed, and by embracing life’s challenges to utilise them as tools for empowerment, he now has an unwavering hunger to continue in the direction of his wildest dreams, and to live life on purpose.
There is no doubt that the world will be seeing much more of Rick in the future, as he inspires others with his words, art, and life experience.
